Internet Account Executive, Two Positions

Position Summary:

Generate revenue through sales of Internet advertising, sponsorships, promotions, and marketing initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Generate revenue for kptv.com/kpdx.com and Livepdx.com

Aggressively develop, conduct face-to-face calls with, and close a minimum amount of new business accounts according to predetermined budgets.

Position will require the ability to adapt to changing technology and to develop/sell revenue generating programs through emerging content vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications – All must be met to be considered.

Prior sales experience necessary, electronic media advertising sales preferred.

Intimate knowledge of the Internet.

Proven sales track record.

Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well developed presentation skills.

Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with station clients, the public, and other station departments.

Ability to organize and prioritize work activities and tasks handling multiple assignments, while meeting “tight” deadlines in an environment subject to constant change and interruptions.

Computer skills utilizing Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word (50-60 wpm).

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Organization skills.
