AM Production Support Engineer
Position Summary:
Works with the Director of Engineering to help support the news expansion in maintenance and troubleshooting of graphics systems, perform quality control checks, and operating and maintaining traffic and studio cameras.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on newsroom, production and graphics systems. Tuning and setting up microwave and satellite live shots, which includes performing audio and video quality control checks and being able to smoothly communicate with the field crews. Switching ODOT traffic cameras to air in coordination with the traffic reporter. Operating and shading remote cameras located in various places around Portland. Shading studio cameras. Setting up air check recordings. Facilitating communications between master control, engineering, news and production.
Minimum Qualifications – All must be met to be considered.
College degree preferred. Some Microsoft networking experience, at least a year in television or radio broadcast engineering and a good background in radio, television, cable, satellite or computer media applications and/or operations.

Relentlessly customer service oriented. Must be flexible. Ability to think on your feet and come up with quickly implemented and innovative solutions when problems arise. Must maintain a good attitude and positive approach with your colleagues.
